I’d like to start off by saying John Lanb is an awesome guy! He’s professional, great attitude, and what I believe is a Valuable Employee to Rocket Carwash located here in Altoona Iowa. The car wash its self is in a great location, great wash and awesome amenities such as vacuums, all sorts out interior and exterior sprays, washing mat station as well as air to blow water out of cracks and crevices or just for interior usage! Thank you John for your Great Attitude and Attention for customers needs/wants!

Have asked for touch less on multiple occasions at this Rocket Carwash/Shine Shop location as well the Ankeny location, without receiving it. I have multiple DEEP scratches on my truck, with less than 3000 miles on it, that have accrued because of laziness of workers by not pressing touch less. I have given them multiple chances by asking them to put a note on my profile as well as asking every time I go through. That is biggest complaint ontop of my vehicle never being clean after going through. I wouldn’t recommended this car wash company to my worst enemy.

Manager was nice about it, but i guess the $25 car wash doesnt include the use of their cleaning products. I dont know why the wash is $25 if you cant spray some windex at the end of it. Ill just go back to using my local $12 car wash and taking it home and using my own vacuum, air compressor and spray. RIP, i really liked this car wash before today

Very nice place to wash vehicle. Staff like Aiden, Bendu and Cy are the most friendly I’ve come across. They always smile and make your day. They are also very willing to help. Luckily this car wash is located closer to my house and my job. I’ll recommend Rocket a million time.

When they first opened, they were giving free car washes so I purchased a monthly membership for only $19.99 a month as long as I keep it active, but now have increased the price to almost double. I am ready to switch because they are not honoring the original offer. This car wash has state of the art car washing equipment, but at first were missing some of the pre-wash sprayers to spray for anything caked on like bugs, dirt, or other gunk. During the winter the don't have these functioning. The brushes are not cloth like other car washes, but seem a bit rough on the car. The tire shine is still hit or miss on our SUV but does a decent job on our sedan.. The staff is a plus and are always friendly and helpful. Also, they have great cloth mat cleaner machines and an area to wash rubber mats. Their cleaning, shine, and air freshener sprays are second to none, and cannot be found at any other car washes. This helps you make your car look great, but also smell good! Lastly, I enjoy country music but it seems that is the only music they ever play. A little variety does not hurt.
